We are also making carts on wheels to manual move across short distances and looking at creative ways to kit parts with the product. As for empty forks, establishing standard work for the forklift operator may yield opportunities to max his lift time. Even backhauling or helping other areas may increase forklift utilization as we look for more creative ways to reduce the need for forklifts.Mike Wroblewskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03451872136821100772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16711894.post-85088940972780445892008-04-19T12:43:00.000-04:002008-04-19T12:43:00.000-04:00Thanks Keith. Thanks Keith.Mike Wroblewskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03451872136821100772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16711894.post-31238261173454135782008-04-17T13:35:00.000-04:002008-04-17T13:35:00.000-04:00Nice article. He was basing his suggestion because the WH Manager said he did not have enough people.

Maybe I point him to this blog?

Mike
Lean Manufacturing GuideInternet Marketing Tipshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16038375745800897309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16711894.post-40439630675447961502008-04-14T10:10:00.000-04:002008-04-14T10:10:00.000-04:00Mike,Nice redesign of the blog.Mike,

Nice redesign of the blog.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16711894.post-45301694925380393922008-04-11T15:27:00.000-04:002008-04-11T15:27:00.000-04:00Mike, great post! That means the forklifts are wearing batteries, tires, etc. without accomplishing anything. This is a tough nut to crack, though. Any thoughts on it?Mike Gardnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09510642077813476873noreply@blogger.com
